What we collect

Enquiry details you give us: name, phone or WhatsApp number, email, travel month, number of travellers, preferences and messages.
Booking details: ID documents and photos needed for permits, dietary and medical notes you choose to share, and payment records.
How you found us: the page you enquired from and campaign tags in the link you followed (for example utm_source), stored in your browser and sent with your enquiry.
Analytics, only with your consent: anonymous usage data such as pages viewed and device type.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
To book hotels, vehicles and permits for your trip.
To contact you about your booking, including road or permit changes.
To understand which pages and campaigns help travellers, so we can improve the site.
To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

By sending an enquiry you consent to us using your details to respond to it. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us; this does not affect processing already done, or records we must keep by law.

Hotels, transport operators and guides on your trip, only what they need.
Government offices that issue permits (names, ID details and photos).
Service providers that help us operate: email and spreadsheet tools that store enquiries, WhatsApp when you choose to message us, and analytics if you consent. Some of these providers may store data outside India.
Authorities, where required by law.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted within 24 months. Booking and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires (currently up to 8 years). Permit documents are deleted after your trip unless the law requires us to keep them.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, update or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. Write to [email protected]. We reply within 30 days.

Security

We limit access to people who need it, use accounts with two-step sign-in, and never ask for card numbers or passwords over WhatsApp or email.

Children

We collect children’s details only from a parent or guardian, and only to book travel and permits.

Grievance officer

Our Grievance Officer can be reached at [email protected]. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
